How to care for your jewelry
Celestera pieces are crafted from sterling silver 925, 22K gold-plated sterling silver (2 micron), and carefully selected natural gemstones. With mindful care, they will stay radiant for years.
GENERAL WEAR & CARE
• Avoid direct contact with perfume, body sprays, sunscreen, lotions, oils, cosmetics, hairspray, and household cleaning chemicals.
• Remove your jewelry before swimming, showering, washing your hands with soap, exercising, or doing household chores.
• Water, salt, soap, chlorine, and sweat can speed up silver tarnishing and cause gold plating to wear more quickly. Moisture may also damage softer gemstones, especially opal and moonstone.
HOW TO CLEAN
• Sterling silver 925: gently polish with a clean silver polishing cloth. Wipe after wearing to remove oils and residue. Tarnish is natural and simply means the silver needs a gentle clean.
• Gold-plated silver: use only a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use silver polish, polishing cloths, chemicals, steam, or ultrasonic cleaners, as they may remove the plating.
• Natural gemstones: wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Never soak gemstones or clean them with steam, ultrasonic cleaners, or chemicals.
STORAGE
• Store every piece separately in a soft pouch or closed jewelry box.
• Keep jewelry away from humidity, heat, and direct sunlight.
• Wipe each piece lightly before storing and avoid keeping jewelry loose in pockets or wallets, where friction can damage the plating or stones.
• Put your jewelry on last, after perfume, lotions, and cosmetics have dried.
