Chakra in Sanskrit means "wheel" and refers to the energy centers in the body. Chakras are believed to be rotating energy discs that must remain "open" and balanced as they affect our emotional and physical well-being.
Opening all the chakras, a person is filled with energy and achieves enlightenment.
